EnMS User Level Online Training for MAX Cement

The EnMS User Level Online Training for MAX Cement plant was conducted on 1st, 2nd, 9th and 10th July via GoToMeeting software. This training was 4 days long and each day was 3.5 hours. Technical Consultant of UNIDO delivered the energy management system (EnMS) and implementation steps to training participants. Recently, UNIDO delivered training for factories on their site as In-House training. Because of Covid-19 crisis, UNIDO tried to conduct online training as new normal. Plant managers, engineers and operators from different departments of factory attended on this training.

"Raising awareness on Energy Efficiency Improvement" Online Webinar

"Raising awareness on Energy Efficiency Improvement" online webinar was conducted via GoToMeeting software with collaboration of UNIDO IEE and Federation of Myanmar Engineering Societies (Fed. MES) from 9:00 to 11:00 am on 3rd July, 2020. This event was opened by remarking the opening speech of U Aung Myint, President of Fed. MES. Technical Consultant of UNIDO, delivered information about implementing Energy Management System (EnMS) and Energy System Optimization (ESO) for the improvement of industrial energy efficiency. 27 interested participants attended and discussed in the online webinar.

SSO User Level Training (Batch-8) at Fed-MES Yangon

Steam System Optimization (SSO) user training (Batch-8) was conducted on 27~28 January 2020 at Federation of Myanmar Engineering Societies (Fed.MES), Yangon. 30 participants attended and after 2 days user training, 6 potential candidates were interviewed by International Expert and later selected to take on for Expert Level Focus Training which would be conducted at partner plant visits in current mission.

EnMS Audit Training

The Energy Management System (EnMS) Audit Training was successfully conducted at Energy Efficiency Training Centre and at the host plant on 17th and 18th October 2019. 18 participants attended the training. On the first day, classroom lecture was laid out by the international expert and practical section was conducted on the second day. The trainees got to learn the lecture directly from International Expert and got the chance to observe Audit on the field at Anawa Devi factory (host plant).

6th Awareness Workshop at Hlaing Thar Yar Industrial Zone

On 30 September 2019, Half Day Awareness Workshop on Industrial Energy Efficiency was held with the collaboration of Myanmar Industries Associations (MIA) and Federation of Myanmar Engineering Societies (Fed.MES) at Committee Office in Hlaing Thar Yar Industrial Zone, Yangon. This was the 6th time workshop for IEE project and 94 participants attended. International and National Experts briefed and share the knowledge about Energy Management System (EnMS), Steam System Optimization (SSO) Issues and Opportunities during workshop.

CASO Expert Level Focus Training

The CASO Focus Training is a part of Expert Level Training on Compressed Air System Optimization. The International Expert delivered training to selected candidates via closed interactive teaching at host plant. On 26 June 2019, Half Day Awareness Workshop on Energy Management System was held at Multi-function Hall, Thilawa Special Economic Zone in Yangon. IEE PMU team actively participated in World Environment Day Event at MICC II, Nay Pyi Taw on June 5, 2019. In this ceremony, President of Myanmar HE U Win Myint delivered opening address. EnMS User Level Training (Batch-11) at YTU

Energy Management System (EnMS) user training (Batch-11) was successfully conducted on 25 July 2018 at Yangon Technological University (YTU). EnMS subject is intended to create as an academic module in a part of YTU coursework. Total 41 interested participants including the lectures and post-graduate students from YTU were invited and attended this training.
